Edumax

Edumax is a team of trainers specialized in linguistic education. They focus on preparing students for EFL exams such as: CAE, CPE, TOEFL, IELTS, Bulats, ECL, Trinity etc. They also offer a wide range of alternative courses and activities to help students improve various soft skills.
The Edumax project was a very short one focused on a presentation website with a content management panel. The combination of technologies used in this project is interesting in its nature and worth mentioning.
Laravel and AngularJS are well renowned web development tools used world-wide.
Laravel is a clean and modern PHP framework created by Taylor Otwell and released in 2011. Being a so-called “full stack” framework it handles everything from database migrations to HTML generation. Laravel is written in PHP 5 and is based on model-view-controller (MVC) pattern. 
AngularJS is a javascript framework created by Google that is used for front-end web development. It aims to simplify both the development and the testing of such applications by providing a framework for client-side MVC and MVVM architectures, along with components commonly used in rich Internet applications.
Combining Laravel and AngularJS seems like the next logical step that not many developers dare to take. This is mostly due to the fact that it is not seen a standard choice, therefore there is a lack of extensive documentation.
We learned that there are more ways of encapsulating the two but the best way is to use each of them where they excel most: AngularJS strictly for front-end development and Laravel strictly for back-end development.
The integration is not the most straight-forward process, but once completed it unleashes the true advantages of this system: fast development time and a superior user experience. 
Conclusion: This pro-bono project was a great opportunity for us to experiment with these technologies and we learned a great deal of experience that we hope will serve us in the following projects. 
We believe this combination has a great potential for future applications.
