We ran for charity at the Suceava Fortress Marathon (Maratonul Cetății Suceava)

The sporting event held annually in Suceava brings together many participants of different ages and training levels. Not only that but running in this charity competition helps raise awareness and money for causes you care about.
ASSIST Software supports the Suceava Fortress Marathon
One of the defining elements of ASSIST Software’s company culture is sports. Over the years, we've never missed an opportunity to exercise and push our limits in competitions. Our enthusiasm is even more significant when it comes to charitable sporting contests. The Suceava Fortress Marathon is one of the events we are thrilled to join every year as sponsors and runners. This marathon is organized by the NGO Save the Children Suceava, and the funds raised are used to support the fight against rising infant mortality rates.
This year's edition was held on 16 and 17 September. 14 of our colleagues ran as competitors. Participants could choose from the Marathon (44.79 km), Half Marathon (22.34 km), Cross Country Race (13.64 km), Popular Race (2 km), and Children's Race (400m/800m). ASSIST Software was one of the main sponsors of the Suceava Fortress Marathon and supported the Cross-Country race, which attracted 69 runners. Moreover, we donated €1 for every kilometer our colleagues ran. Thus, they managed to raise an additional donation of 245 euros through their participation.
ASSIST Software was pleased to be an official partner of this year's edition. For our community, it has already become a long-standing event in which we participate with great ambition and energy year after year. We are honored by the opportunity to support a charitable cause and give children hope for life. Congratulations to everyone who supported this cause and to those who made this event possible.
