ASSIST Software is a 2023 Clutch Champion

With the disruption artificial intelligence has created within the software development industry, it’s fair to say that companies worldwide faced a never-heard-before challenge. While some players were left behind, others adapted quickly and embraced the new technologies.

The landscape of software solution providers has changed, and AI implementation services might be in high demand, but such endeavors do not guarantee success on their own. Expertise, adaptability, teamwork, and know-how still win when wanting to build long-term partnerships.

In this era of machine learning and automatization, ASSIST Software faced the same questions and the overwhelming desire to be ahead of industry trends. With a focused goal and a tendency to put innovation first, we met new people who shared our values and offered partners the support they needed to enter this new chapter. This attitude has brought us two outstanding titles from the reputable business review website Clutch.

ASSIST Software is an Industry Champion and a Global Company

This fall, after crunching the numbers and verifying recommendations, Clutch.co has announced who they view as the Top Companies on their website. Their statistics showed that ASSIST Software runs for both Industry Champion and Global Company categories, and we were awarded both titles.

These two awards now place a company from Romania between the first 10% of companies in software development across the platform, but is this success truly indicative of excellent service? How did we get to be on top?

How to get outstanding reviews?

Many companies offer great know-how, and there is an unquestionable amount of talent out there. With online courses, certifications, masterclasses, and many live coding events, gathering theoretical knowledge is arguably accessible today.

However, even with great practice and a dedicated team, sometimes projects fall flat if one does not tick other boxes in the client’s requirement sheet.

Let’s go through some points that have brought ASSIST Software these awards.

A genuine client focused approach

Being in the software solutions business means truly listening to your clients and taking in their requests. But anybody can do that! What sets you apart is identifying things your clients might need, even if they might not see it themselves.

  • “They have a problem-solving culture, which is outstanding — they’re not a typical consultancy company only looking to charge per hour or day. They want to solve our problems and exceed our expectations in the process. […] Be clear about what you need and transparent with the problems you must solve — the more information you give them, the more they can help you.” ~ Adrian Burns, CEO, Firmwave, Dublin, Ireland
Speed and exertise walk hand in hand

They say slow and steady wins the race, but most of the time, that does not apply if you wish your client to be a pioneer in their industry. As the world today changes constantly and new, potentially groundbreaking software launches every other day, speed of delivery becomes crucial. Somebody out there might be working on a similar idea to yours, and a good dose of competition is healthy. Still, you don’t want to release a product 6 months after your competitor’s has already hit the market and established its name.

Most of the people we call visionaries now have years and years of experience in their field. Professionals work faster as they already know what works and what doesn’t.

  • “What sets ASSIST Software apart is their unwavering dedication to delivering on time and within budget. They have consistently met deadlines, even under tight schedules, and have maintained transparency and open communication throughout the entire development process. Their commitment to quality and their ability to adapt to changing project requirements have made them a trusted partner that we can rely on.” ~ Brian Torrey, Head of Engineering at Stratify, Seattle, US
Togetherness is more important than you think

When implementing an idea, hiring an external team, or augmenting what you already have, you must get everybody to understand your vision. Everyone working on the project is unique and comes from different backgrounds. Working together is a challenge, and how everybody perceives the project can impact your result.

As a company working for a client and their team, be mindful of what you dedicate your time to. It might sound counterintuitive to say that projects should be picked out carefully, but there is nothing more soul-numbing than working on something you don’t believe in or see no potential.

  • “As a start-up, we were in need of some additional coding capacity for enhancing and improving our solution and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Of course, we were hoping for technical expertise and high quality. Not only did ASSIST and the team exceed our expectations, we quickly worked together as if we did so for years. [...] The spirit of innovation and quality combined with the personal interest in our solution made our relationship quickly turning into more than just a commercial partnership.” ~ Holger Cordes, CEO, Panacea Health GmbH, Germany
Financials and focus might differ

Money is the underlying motif of every business discussion as it affects our lives. However, if money is your only drive, there’s a good chance you’ll go bust. Clients come to us because they want toB communities or industries, offer real solutions to age-old problems, and move the innovation bandwagon. They are ready to pay for the time and expertise invested in their project, but the financial team is never the one to start the discussion.

Being flexible does not mean underselling yourself but seeing what you gain from a partnership, such as connections, recommendations, and new vantage points.

  • “We build and launch technology companies. ASSIST has been building mission critical infrastructure and cutting-edge software and Web based solutions for us with over a dozen companies over a decade. They are our most trusted partner. More trusted than our own employees, who might come and go. There is no better software engineering group in the world on a cost-to-value ratio. Your biggest challenge will be getting them to agree to take you on as a new client.” ~ John Fanning, Founder of Netcapital, Boston, US
Ask your partners for honest feedback

Nothing can make you grow better than asking for feedback. Knowing the areas where you can improve will offer clear action points and get the ball rolling in the right direction. More importantly, feedback gives you a great perspective of everything you are doing right, and the answers might surprise you! Something that comes naturally for your company by cultural design could be monumental for your client. Without knowing how valuable your takes are, you might be inclined to change them and leave people wondering why your services have decreased in value.

  • “We approached ASSIST with just an idea of a product and many fuzzy requirements that we were tinkering with constantly. ASSIST brought in its A-Team, which helped us tremendously to stay on time and within budget. The ultimate goal was to generate a quality MVP and crystallize the vision for the product, and together, we achieved that objective. From UX/UI to hard-core development, analytics, and visualization, ASSIST’s people have the knowledge, enthusiasm, engagement, and process discipline to make the product development journey highly effective.” - Brian Minick, COO, ZeroBounce, California, US

Recognition for a job well done excites us for the future, but ultimately, the partnerships and friendships we have forged in our quest for innovation remain the most satisfying part of the job.
