Promoting Neurodiversity and Inclusive Digital Education Through IDEATE
Inclusion is a prerequisite. By acknowledging diverse ways of thinking and learning, we can build educational approaches that genuinely support every learner. This belief shaped the way we presented and shared the IDEATE project.
At Open Doors ASSIST 2025, ASSIST Software showcased the Inclusive Digital Education and Teacher Empowerment Academy Erasmus+ project, placing a strong emphasis on neurodiversity and inclusive learning. The project addresses the need for inclusive educational approaches by equipping teachers with the skills and competencies required to manage diverse classrooms, recognize different cognitive profiles and learning styles, and effectively support neurodivergent learners alongside all students.
Engaging with students, future educators, and technology enthusiasts, the IDEATE team highlighted how digital education can better accommodate neurodivergent learners by promoting accessibility, flexibility, and personalized learning experiences. Discussions centered on inclusive pedagogical practices, educator training, and the role of technology in fostering learning environments that acknowledge diversity as a strength rather than a barrier.
Presenting IDEATE in an AI- and innovation-oriented academic setting provided an opportunity to highlight the role of inclusive values alongside digital skills.
We remind you that IDEATE is funded by the Erasmus+ Teacher Academies program of the European Union, with project ID: 101196790.
