Imagine a social worker who can easily navigate complex situations, fostering trust and understanding with clients facing social exclusion. This was the vision behind SkillHelp, an Erasmus+ project that empowered European social workers with the essential soft skills they need to thrive. Launched in 2022 and culminating in February 2024, SkillHelp addressed the growing need for social workers to go beyond technical expertise and build meaningful connections with the individuals they serve.
EURO LIDER coordinated the project, which included a psychometric diagnostic tool to assess social workers' strengths and weaknesses, a user-friendly eLearning platform, and a dedicated online course for supporting individuals at risk of social exclusion.
The secret sauce of SkillHelp? Collaboration. ASSIST Software, the project's technical partner, played a pivotal role in crafting the user-friendly website and seamlessly integrating the eLearning platform with an online diagnostic tool. This ensured a smooth user experience, allowing social workers to navigate the resources and focus on their professional growth seamlessly.
The Our Digital Future (ODF) project, funded by Erasmus+, tackled the growing need for digital skills in the European workforce. This two-year initiative aimed to empower career advisors and educators with the tools they need to guide young people towards exciting opportunities in emerging digital fields.
At the heart of ODF was a user-friendly web platform and mobile app developed by ASSIST Software. This digital hub provided information on future-focused careers, including alternative energy consultancy, 3D printing, robotics, and artificial intelligence development. Packed with details on job opportunities, required skills, and training recommendations, the app serves as a one-stop shop for educators and career advisors seeking to equip young people for success in the digital economy.
ODF recognized the crucial role of career advisors, and to support them, the project consortium created a series of 16 video interviews with industry experts. These interviews offered valuable insights into the specific requirements and challenges of each emerging digital field. Additionally, 16 compelling lesson plans were developed, providing educators with a structured approach to introducing students to these emerging career paths.
The ODF project exemplifies the power of collaboration. A consortium of partners from Poland, Spain, Portugal, and Greece came together to create a lasting resource for educators and young people across Europe. By providing essential tools and knowledge, ODF paves the way for a future workforce equipped to thrive in the digital age.
The START Project tackles the challenges of international expansion within the retail sector. This initiative offers a thorough toolkit designed by experts in navigating global markets.
At the heart of START lies a user-friendly, multilingual eLearning platform. This digital hub provides participants with the knowledge and skills to craft winning internationalization strategies. Complementing the platform, a mobile app equips users with the latest research on European internationalization trends. This real-time data empowers participants to make informed decisions and tailor their strategies for optimal success.
Recognizing the growing importance of e-commerce, ASSIST Software got involved with the START project because it strongly emphasizes developing crucial digital skills.
The project welcomes a diverse audience within the retail sector. Established businesses, retail professionals, and young job seekers can benefit from START's vast resources, empowering them to thrive in the globalized retail landscape.
