ASSIST Software is supporting the National Olympiad in Informatics

I. Introduction
At ASSIST Software, we value talent, passion and hard-working people that always want to take themselves to the next level and challenge themselves. Therefore, the organization of the National Olympiad in Informatics in Suceava came as an opportunity for our company to offer a helping hand as one of the main sponsors.
II. The National Olympiad in Informatics
The highly-anticipated event, which is for high school students, will take place from 29 April to 4 May 2019 and is organized by the Ministry of Education in partnership with the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava, the School Inspectorate of Suceava, and the Stefan cel Mare National College.
The National Olympiad in Informatics will bring together over 400 high school students and professors from all over the country. As expected, the event will be hosted by the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava with which we have a long-standing partnership, and which actively gets involved in events and initiatives that support talented and passionate high school students.
III. The event agenda
The opening ceremony took place on Tuesday, the 30th of April, at 18.00, at "Stefan cel Mare" University. From May 1st to May 3rd, the students will complete, according to the specific Olympiad regulations, two practical tests and then a final test that is used to select the members of the Romanian National Informatics Team.
IV. Conclusion
At ASSIST, we believe that we have a common purpose: to improve daily, to make each other proud and to support the local community.
We are a local company, we owe everything to the community we were born in and we believe we should do our best to give back. We are very proud to see that talented student from our city participating in this Olympiad. In fact, a total of 12 students from Suceava succeeded in qualifying for the national team!
