ASSIST Software football team placed 4th in the Golden Companies League

Between June and November this year, the ASSIST Software football team participated in a local football competition, the Suceava Companies League. 11 football teams made up of employees from top companies from Suceava county competed in the Golden division. Even though it was our first time competing in this tournament, our team stood out for its excellent results, teamwork, and perseverance.

The football competition proved to be very tight, as each team had well-trained players motivated to perform. Our players showed no let-up and managed to get the win in most of their matches. Out of a total of 20 matches played in the competition, 12 of them ended in our favor, one was a draw, and only 7 of them ended in defeat. Our team scored a total of 79 goals and got 37 points, which meant we were tied for 3rd place. The goal difference was then used to break the tie, resulting in a 4th-place final result for our team.

Since the beginning of the competition in June this year, our players have shown hard work, dedication, and ambition to succeed. Consistent training and the desire to get as many wins as possible brought them to the football pitch and drove their success. Our ASSIST community showed its full support and encouragement for our team. The team made us proud all the way through the competition.

The Suceava Companies League is a local football competition affiliated with the national competition of the same name. It operates under the aegis of the Association of Amateur and Non-Amateur Football Players from Romania and was held in partnership with the County Football Association, the “Sport for All” County Association, and the County Directorate for Sport and Youth. The competition was a perfect opportunity to meet many athletes from different professional fields. For about 6 months of competition, we met on the pitch at the Civica Sport Center to compete for a place on the podium, but also to entertain and be active.

Congratulations to all teams for a fantastic competition! Participating in the Golden Companies League was a great experience, and we look forward to next year's edition with renewed energy!
