ASSIST Software Brings AI Expertise Closer to German Businesses
The opening of ASSIST Software GmbH in Augsburg marks a pivotal stage in our company’s growth. By establishing a presence in Bavaria, we are positioning ourselves closer to European partners and clients while strengthening our role in shaping the future of AI-driven innovation.
Bringing Expertise Closer to Partners
For many years, our team has delivered AI solutions, tailored software, and digital transformation projects to clients across Europe. The decision to open our first international office in Germany stems from a clear goal: to work alongside organizations in one of the continent’s most advanced markets for technology adoption.
Germany is investing heavily in digital transformation, with its AI market expected to surpass €30 billion by 2030. Many German SMEs are eager to explore AI and automation but face challenges in implementation. Our new location in Augsburg enables us to provide the expertise and support these businesses need in real time, ensuring they remain competitive and innovative.

An Event that Brought Communities Together
The launch ceremony, hosted at the Augsburg Technology Center (TZA) on September 26th, created a platform for dialogue between local authorities, academics, and business leaders. Wolfgang Hehl of TZA welcomed ASSIST Software into the city’s innovation ecosystem. Dr. Wolfgang Hübschle and Herwig Leiter spoke about the region’s openness to collaboration and its ambition to attract global technology partners.
From our side, Gheorghe David and Tudor Andronic highlighted how this expansion reflects both our commitment to the German market and our ambition to serve clients across the entire DACH region.
Perspectives from Business and Academia
Throughout the day, our management team and some fantastic experts showcased projects ranging from AI and process automation to EU-funded research initiatives. Their presentations demonstrated how our expertise translates into practical solutions for businesses navigating digital change.
Academic collaboration was also central to the event. Professor Ștefan Purici and Professor Radu-Daniel Vatavu from Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava emphasized the importance of linking research with industry, underlining how partnerships can drive long-term innovation.

Dialogue on AI and Industry Challenges
A highlight of the inauguration was the panel discussion featuring German and European business leaders: Rüdiger Fromm, Georg Meyndt, Christian Kometer, Dr. Christian Mateescu, and Patricia Hartmann. Together, they examined how AI adoption reshapes the Mittelstand, the balance between regulation and innovation, and the opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
The event concluded with insights from Professor Michael Zipfel of Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, who spoke about leadership and responsibility in the digital transformation era.
Looking Forward
Opening our first international office is a commitment to building closer, more impactful partnerships with businesses and institutions in Germany and beyond.
By being present in Augsburg, we can better support companies adopting AI, cloud solutions, and digital transformation strategies, while continuing to collaborate with European universities and research networks.
For ASSIST Software, this moment is both an achievement and the beginning of a new journey where our passion for innovation and dedication to clients will guide our work in the years ahead.
