Smart EVC Project - Kick-off Meeting in Suceava

On 15th of June 2020, the Smart EVC project partners came together at ASSIST Software headquarters, in Suceava, for the official kick-off meeting. The research project consortium is made up of two Romanian partners - Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava and ASSIST Software.
The main purpose of the meeting was to establish the project’s management committee and present the Smart EVC implementation plan. The next step was to thoroughly analyze the first stage of the project, the implementation plan, work packages, deliverables, and dissemination strategy established for the next period.
The meeting was wrapped up with talks concerning project management, such as communication and document sharing procedures, project management platform implementation, communication channels, and task assignment and tracking.
Smart EVC is a nationally-funded project under the PN-III-P2-2.1-PTE-2019 program. It aims to build a software platform for the management of electric vehicle charging stations on top of the latest OCPP version, using innovative features such as an AI module for smart scheduling, a Blockchain system for peer-to-peer charging, and a wrapper over the OCPP protocol.
