"Scaled Agile Framework" workshop at ASSIST Software

On the 11th and 12th of April 2019, the ASSIST development team participated in a "Scaled Agile Framework" workshop, which was held at ASSIST Software headquarters. During this two-day course, our colleagues gained the relevant skills and knowledge needed in order to effectively lead a Lean-Agile enterprise by leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and its underlying principles derived from Lean, systems thinking, Agile development, product development flow, and DevOps.
The SAFe trainer had a theoretical understanding of how the framework can be applied as well as the practical experience of working with numerous organizations that were actively applying SAFe in their pursuit of business agility. The practical activities carried out during the course made our colleagues understand deeper how SAFe fits the Agile transformation approach. Other essential SAFe topics covered during the workshop were the roles and responsibilities defined by SAFe Agile and the ceremonies of the Scaled Agile Framework.
The "Scaled Agile Framework" workshop provided our colleagues with the opportunity to explore the change management approaches and techniques required for success and to become a certified SAFe Agilist after completing the final exam.
