The PRIORITY eLearning Platform is up and running!
Wed, 22 Dec 2021
We are proud to announce the launch of the brand-new PRIORITY eLearning platform designed to host the two compelling courses developed in line with the general objective of the project: preventing radicalization and fostering the social inclusion of young people at risk of marginalization.
Over the last several months of project implementation, ASSIST Software has created the design and outline of the two online courses and has developed and stylized the PRIORITY eLearning platform on top of an open-source Learning Management System.
The content provided by the PRIORITY project partners Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. JKPeV (Germany), KAINOTOMIA (Greece), CSC Danilo Dolci and Mine Vaganti (Italy) has been skillfully transposed by ASSIST Software into the eLearning platform, to provide two engaging courses, designed for the two main target groups of the project.
The PRIORITY Superhero course is dedicated to educators, trainers, youth workers, teachers, sport educators, cultural mediators, and activists eager to learn more about the prevention of marginalization and radicalization leading to violent extremism. The course also provides useful information on how to build, operate and sustain inclusive youth environments in the local communities.
The PRIORITY Young Mediator course has been created for young people committed to becoming mediators and contributing to the social integration of their peers from disadvantaged groups, such as migrants or refugees. The course sets out to develop the trainees’ intercultural, social, and critical thinking skills, necessary to engage and empower their peers.
Hoping that our brief presentation has stirred your interest, we encourage you to subscribe to our online courses and acquire new skills you can use in your practices and communities! The PRIORITY Superhero and PRIORITY Young Mediator courses are available in English, German, Greek, Italian and Romanian!
