ASSIST Software is proud to be part of the "Romanians Building Europe" campaign, initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and promoted by the Embassy of Romania in the Federal Republic of Germany, in the context of Europe Day.

The campaign highlights Romanian professionals, entrepreneurs, and organizations that strengthen European cooperation, build cross-border partnerships, and support the development of a more connected and innovative Europe.

ASSIST Software was selected for its active contribution to the European technology landscape, as represented by the professional story of Alexandru Nistor, VP of Process Improvements at ASSIST Software, and the entrepreneurial vision of Tudor Andronic, CEO of ASSIST Software, who has led the company's expansion from Suceava into the German market.

We thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, the Embassy of Romania in Germany, and the Consulate General of Romania in Munich for including ASSIST Software in this initiative and for promoting Romanian success stories across Europe.

"Why do we focus on Germany? From a cultural perspective, Bucovina — where we come from — has deep cultural ties with Augsburg. That is why it feels very natural for us to continue these traditions, not only culturally, but also from an economic point of view."

— Tudor Andronic, CEO of ASSIST Software

How Suceava and Augsburg became part of the same story

Founded in 1992 in Suceava, Romania, ASSIST Software has grown into an international technology company with a strong presence in the European market. Today, our team of over 350 specialists delivers software solutions for clients across Europe and beyond.

Our expansion to Augsburg, Germany represents a strategic connection between two complementary European ecosystems: Romania's strong engineering talent, agility, and capacity for innovation, and Germany's operational rigor, industrial expertise, and focus on scalable, long-term solutions.

This connection allows ASSIST Software to act as a bridge between Eastern and Western Europe, delivering robust software for international partners and contributing to a more integrated European technology landscape.

A Romanian software company with European impact

Over the years, ASSIST Software has participated in European research and innovation projects, working with partners from multiple EU member states across sectors including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, healthcare, education, automotive, energy, and digital transformation.

These collaborations have strengthened our expertise and produced results that extend well beyond national borders, demonstrating that innovation built in Romania can drive European and global progress when grounded in expertise, trust, and long-term collaboration.

Our recent participation at HANNOVER MESSE 2026, supported by HannoverImpuls, reflects our ongoing commitment to building international partnerships and showcasing Romanian technological expertise on major European innovation platforms.

What Europe means to ASSIST Software

For ASSIST Software, Europe is a shared environment of values, standards, and continuous development, the professional framework that has shaped our commitment to quality, responsibility, and innovation.

It is also where Romanian talent connects with international opportunities and contributes to projects that matter. Through our work, we support a mature technological dialogue among Romania, Germany, and our international partners, creating solutions that address real business needs and long-term digital transformation goals.

Recognition and responsibility

Being included in the "Romanians Building Europe" campaign is both an honor and a responsibility.

It confirms ASSIST Software's role within a larger European story, one in which Romanian companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals actively contribute to innovation, cooperation, and sustainable development across the continent.

The inclusion of ASSIST Software in the campaign was also acknowledged by the Consulate General of Romania in Munich, which highlighted the company's visible and professional presence in the European technology ecosystem:

"We are glad to have alongside us Romanian companies that build concretely, professionally, and visibly in the European technology ecosystem. The ASSIST story is exactly what we want to bring to light through the #RomaniansWhoAreBuildingEurope campaign: competence, entrepreneurial courage, and a valuable Romanian presence in Bavaria and in Europe. Congratulations, Tudor Andronic, and continued success to the entire ASSIST team!"

— Consulate General of Romania in Munich

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can you integrate AI into an existing software product?

Absolutely. Our team can assess your current system and recommend how artificial intelligence features, such as automation, recommendation engines, or predictive analytics, can be integrated effectively. Whether it's enhancing user experience or streamlining operations, we ensure AI is added where it delivers real value without disrupting your core functionality.

2. What types of AI projects has ASSIST Software delivered?

We’ve developed AI solutions across industries, from natural language processing in customer support platforms to computer vision in manufacturing and agriculture. Our expertise spans recommendation systems, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and custom machine learning models tailored to specific business needs.

3. What is ASSIST Software's development process?

The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) we employ defines the stages for a software project. Our SDLC phases include planning, requirement gathering, product design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

4. What software development methodology does ASSIST Software use?

ASSIST Software primarily leverages Agile principles for flexibility and adaptability. This means we break down projects into smaller, manageable sprints, allowing continuous feedback and iteration throughout the development cycle. We also incorporate elements from other methodologies to increase efficiency as needed. For example, we use Scrum for project roles and collaboration, and Kanban boards to see workflow and manage tasks. As per the Waterfall approach, we emphasize precise planning and documentation during the initial stages.

5. I'm considering a custom application. Should I focus on a desktop, mobile or web app?

We can offer software consultancy services to determine the type of software you need based on your specific requirements. Please explore what type of app development would suit your custom build product.

  • A web application runs on a web browser and is accessible from any device with an internet connection. (e.g., online store, social media platform)
  • Mobile app developers design applications mainly for smartphones and tablets, such as games and productivity tools. However, they can be extended to other devices, such as smartwatches.
  • Desktop applications are installed directly on a computer (e.g., photo editing software, word processors).
  • Enterprise software manages complex business functions within an organization (e.g., Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)).

6. My software product is complex. Are you familiar with the Scaled Agile methodology?

We have been in the software engineering industry for 30 years. During this time, we have worked on bespoke software that needed creative thinking, innovation, and customized solutions.

Scaled Agile refers to frameworks and practices that help large organizations adopt Agile methodologies. Traditional Agile is designed for small, self-organizing teams. Scaled Agile addresses the challenges of implementing Agile across multiple teams working on complex projects.

SAFe provides a structured approach for aligning teams, coordinating work, and delivering value at scale. It focuses on collaboration, communication, and continuous delivery for optimal custom software development services.

7. How do I choose the best collaboration model with ASSIST Software?

We offer flexible models. Think about your project and see which model would be right for you.

  • Dedicated Team: Ideal for complex, long-term projects requiring high continuity and collaboration.
  • Team Augmentation: Perfect for short-term projects or existing teams needing additional expertise.
  • Project-Based Model: Best for well-defined projects with clear deliverables and a fixed budget.

Contact us to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each model.
