ASSIST Software joins the fight against COVID-19 virus

ASSIST Software together with the Suceava-Bucovina Rotary Club have united their forces in order to support the Suceava community in the fight against COVID-19 and have prepared a donation of medical equipment worth 140,000 lei (31,500 USD) for the Suceava County Hospital.
This campaign was initiated out of necessity due to the serious situation the COVID-19 virus has caused in Suceava. The initiative was carried out by members of the ASSIST Software team who, out of solidarity for the community, mobilized in less than five days and raised 21,000 lei (4,725 USD) to support the healthcare services in Suceava.
Our colleagues wanted to increase the amount of money raised, so they persuaded the company management to supplement the funds. As expected, the proposal was accepted, and with the additional funds, the total value of the donation reached 70,000 lei (15,750 USD) thus becoming the largest fundraiser of the ASSIST Software team.
And the story continued!
The Suceava-Bucovina Rotary Club reacted in turn with enthusiasm at our company initiative and decided to double our donation of 70,000 lei (15,750 USD) through individual contributions from its members and club sponsors who generously donated to this worthy cause.
Thus, through unity and generosity, the total value of the funds raised for the hospital reached 140,000 lei (31,500 USD) in just one week.
Under the motto #StrongerTogether, we reached an impressive result with our partners. The Suceava-Bucovina Rotary Club has shown us once again that it values the community and supports initiatives aimed at helping the residents of Suceava.
ASSIST Software is honored to be part of a community and country like ours and we are proud to see that in hard times like these, Romanians are united and show solidarity and compassion for sick and vulnerable people as well as medical staff. We believe that our company is responsible for supporting the community in which we operate. And we will continue to help the community whenever we can, with solidarity and appreciation.
