Self-SDG

The Self-SDG (or A Mobile Application for Self-Assessment and Increasing Commitment to Sustainable Development Goals) project aims to advance Education for Sustainable Development by creating a multi-platform mobile application that empowers users to self-assess their commitment to the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Through a series of progressive challenges, the application aims to elevate users' commitment levels, fostering a positive shift in behavior toward more sustainable practices. 

Target groups:

• Students and teachers at all stages of education: primary, secondary, vocational, higher education, and adult education 

• Management teams, inspectorate, educational authorities 

• Local and regional administrations will be the target of the project's dissemination campaign. 

• Civil society 

• General public 

Objectives: 

• Investigation of effective approaches to education and engagement that empower citizens to take active and responsible roles in addressing social and environmental challenges. 

• The development of a mobile application that uses gamification, social media, and dynamic user experience to increase engagement with the SDGs. 

• Dissemination of climate change's social and environmental problems and the need to achieve the UN SDGs in its Agenda 2030. 

ASSIST Software plays the part of the technical partner within the consortium, being responsible for the design and development of the project's website and a mobile app.
