1. Introduction
The year 2020 was one of the most challenging and unpredictable years, but it gave us the opportunity to reflect and focus on the values we hold dear. Through dedication, perseverance and determination, we managed to make 2020 a year full of successes.
2. Education Ambassadors
We remained dedicated to our goal of supporting and encouraging students who want to pursue a career in software development by offering 70 internship opportunities and organizing tech events, competitions and workshops.
3. Nature and Sports Lovers
We supported, promoted and encouraged mental and physical health by taking our love and passion for sports and nature to the highest peaks of Bukovina. We took part in various running and cycling competitions and we were one of the sponsors for the Bukovina Ultra Rocks event.
4. Supporting the community and those in need
We continued to nurture a culture that promotes empathy and compassion towards those around us, but especially those less fortunate. We believe in giving back to the community and we did so throughout the year by taking part in various charitable activities such as blood drives, hospital donations and Christmas gift-giving for low-income families. We also donated laptops to children in need to facilitate their access to online learning.
5. Our expanding team
We continued to invest in our people, focusing on learning and development, training and certification, and career progression. We welcomed 31 new members to our continuously growing family that have contributed to the accomplishments of the company and helped make 2020 yet another successful year.
6. New connections, satisfied customers, and achievements
We had the opportunity to build new bridges towards future collaborations and promote our software services at trade shows and tech conferences in Germany and Spain.
In 2020, we expanded our business portfolio with 13 new valuable clients and we worked on 50 internal and external fascinating projects.
We continued to provide high-quality software services and we are proud of the positive feedback we received from our clients.
We invested time and passion in developing remarkable projects during the most-awaited internal competition – “Best Innovative Minds”. These projects stood out for their creativity, attention to detail and use of technology, having the potential to benefit the community we live in.
7. Gratitude and Reflection
Although it was a year filled with division and uncertainty, we got through it as a team, ensuring that safety was of top priority in everything we did. We worked towards our goals and we successfully managed to overcome the challenges that came our way.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the growth of ASSIST Software as a team and as a business in 2020.
