The START Multiplier Event in Romania
Wed, 06 Dec 2023
In early November 2023, the START project reached a significant milestone in the final stages of its implementation. A first multiplier event was held in Suceava, Romania, to promote the project’s results to a wider audience eager to learn more about business internationalization.
Apart from being the technical partner in the consortium, ASSIST Software has been engaged in various additional activities throughout the project's lifespan. These activities were designed not only to ensure balanced geographical coverage in dissemination but also to foster meaningful interactions with the project’s target groups. This contributed to shaping the project’s outcomes by revealing the challenges faced by Romanian SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) in the realm of international expansion.
Consequently, on November 2nd, ASSIST presented the compelling intellectual outputs of the project to 36 representatives of various local and foreign organizations. The audience included public authorities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the local university (Faculty of Economics, Administration and Business), local schools, and vocational education and training (VET) entities. Furthermore, we capitalized on the presence in Suceava of several representatives of international organizations to strategically expand our outreach, promoting the START Mobile report and the comprehensive online course to other countries beyond the consortium: Portugal, Italy, and Sweden.
The participants displayed a keen interest in the project, engaging in extended discussions related to business internationalization and the challenges faced by SMEs in this process. They also wanted to understand the methodology we employed to identify the needs of the target groups and the specific training gaps that led to shaping the structure of the START online training.
The seven courses available on the START eLearning platform stirred the interest of the audience as we navigated through the platform to highlight the extensive work carried out by the project partners. During the networking session, participants were able to scan a QR code giving them easy access to the eLearning platform, to explore the courses at their own pace.
The START multiplier event achieved its intended purpose, serving as a catalyst for cultivating collaboration and disseminating knowledge in the ever-evolving terrain of business internationalization.
We remind you that the Strategic ParTnership to Improve InternAtionalization skills of SMEs in ReTail sector or START is funded by the ERASMUS+ KA2 program of the European Union and submitted under project ID 2021-1-BE01-KA220-VET-000034627 / Grant Agreement nº 21PCP0013.
