Inclusive AI in Focus: Students Discover How Technology Can Reduce Barriers

On November 5th, A(I)BILITIES was showcased at ASSIST’s Open Doors event, held at Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to learn about the project’s mission and its focus on developing AI-powered solutions that enhance digital accessibility.
The event offered a fitting setting to raise awareness of how cutting-edge research can be transformed into practical tools that support people with disabilities, reinforcing the project’s relevance for both the academic community and future technology professionals.
A(I)BILITIES stood out as a reminder that AI innovation is not only about speed or efficiency – it is also about ensuring that no one is left behind. The project inspired students to consider how they can contribute to a more inclusive digital society through thoughtful, user-centred design.
