DataPACT Showcased at Open Doors ASSIST 2025 in Suceava
On November 5th, the DataPACT project was presented at the Open Doors ASSIST 2025 event, hosted at Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava. With over 500 students in attendance this year, the event provided the perfect setting to introduce DataPACT’s mission and ongoing work to a young audience deeply interested in AI, data, and emerging technologies.
Throughout the day, visitors stopped by the dedicated stand, where they learned how the DataPACT is advancing trustworthy, ethical, and regulation-aware data and AI pipelines. The showcase highlighted the project’s goal of integrating compliance, security, and sustainability into every stage of the data lifecycle, from collection and processing to model development and deployment.
At the booth, ASSIST Software team members demonstrated how DataPACT aims to support organisations in navigating complex requirements such as GDPR, AI governance, environmental impact, and transparency obligations. Students showed particular interest in the project’s practical tools and frameworks, asking questions about real-world applications in fields like healthcare, smart cities, media, and public services.
The Open Doors environment provided a space where students could understand why responsible data practices are essential and how DataPACT contributes to building a future where innovation and ethics advance together. Many participants left the stand reflecting on how trustworthy data pipelines will shape their future careers, whether in AI engineering, software development, or digital policy.
