Suceava city is known for its culture and people's love for art and beauty. Over time, it has become a hub for national and international cultural events, attracting famous artists and large audiences. Alongside traditional art forms, the city also embraces innovative cultural experiences. One such event was the SymphOpera Fest, a combination of symphonic music and opera, which debuted in Suceava to great acclaim.
From the very beginning, we were confident that the Suceava audience would love this unique experience. That's why we didn't hesitate to partner for this series of events. ASSIST Software has proactively sponsored and promoted SymphOpera Fest, thus investing in the people and adding value to the local community. Additionally, our team members have been enthusiastic about participating in numerous exciting events from the series.
A successful debut for SymphOpera Fest
SymphOpera Fest started with a bang on the 7th of May with a show called "Symphonic Stand-up Comedy." The concert featured Bogdan Bob Rădulescu, Dalma Toadere, and the Liber Artis Orchestra from Iasi. Other shows that came to the stage of the Suceava Culture House were "Tosca," an extraordinary performance conducted by Daniel Jinga, and the "Latino-Simfonic," performed by the National Philharmonic "Serghei Lunchevici" from Chisinau.
SymphOpera Fest was designed to appeal to a broad audience. Therefore, it included concerts for a varied public, with songs for children, pieces from local folklore, and international masterpieces performed by artists from Romania and beyond.
The concert series concluded with a grand finale featuring "A Tempo - Pop-Simfonic Românesc." Conducted by renowned composer and pianist Andrei Tudor, this concert celebrated beloved Romanian classics. A well-known ensemble of singers and musicians, including vocalist Monica Anghel and the "Ciprian Porumbescu" choir, delivered an outstanding performance. This spectacle resonated with audiences and was a fitting conclusion to the fascinating week of symphonic music and opera.
A centerpiece for cultural growth
As per the feedback received from the audience, SymphOpera Fest has become a centerpiece of Suceava's cultural landscape from the first edition. The festival's success sets the stage for future iterations, promising ongoing artistic innovation and an opportunity to showcase local and international talent.
Looking ahead, SymphOpera Fest has the potential to evolve and inspire more people, drawing audiences from across the country.
