ASSIST Software is a firm believer in fostering a healthy community. While we encourage employee well-being through internal initiatives, our support extends beyond office walls. We actively champion local and national sports performances, celebrating athletic achievements and healthy competition.
On March 26th, the crowd cheers echoed through Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano stadium as the Romanian National Football Team took the field against Colombia. This match was crucial in Romania’s preparation for EURO 2024, a chance for the team members to test their skills against strong competition. The event brought back memories of the National Team’s historic win against the same opponent in the 1994 World Cup, a game engraved in the minds of many Romanian fans.
The Romanian team displayed impressive skill, and the crowd erupted twice as Romania netted two goals. This exciting performance raised hopes for their upcoming game against Germany, showcasing their potential on the international stage. While the pressure of EURO 2024 is undoubtedly high, the Romanian team demonstrated their fighting spirit and determination, leaving fans optimistic about their future endeavors.
The ASSIST Software logo was shown on the screens surrounding the field during the match as a testament to our support. To further the fans' enthusiasm, we hosted a fun giveaway on Facebook. During the live broadcast on Antena 1, viewers who spotted our logo on the screens surrounding the field or those attending the match in person were invited to capture a picture and send it in! This simple yet effective strategy not only encouraged viewership but also boosted team spirit among fansThis wasn't a one-time display of our commitment. Last year, we stood behind the CSU Handball Team, whose talent and dedication propelled them to new heights. Their impressive victory in the Romanian Junior 2 Championship filled us with pride, and we were honored to be a part of their journey.
Another example of Romanian athletic performance is Andrei Gafita, whom we proudly supported. He has participated in many marching competitions, culminating in the World Race Walking Championship. His passion and perseverance embody the spirit we strive to celebrate.
