Over the past few years, ASSIST Software has maintained a consistent presence at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, establishing itself as a regular participant in this global event, promoting the company’s services and projects, gaining exposure, and establishing new business relationships.
MWC Barcelona is the world's largest mobile industry event, bringing together key players from the mobile and technology sectors such as mobile operators, device manufacturers, software companies, and internet giants. The event provides a platform for displaying the latest innovations and trends in the industry, and participants can attend keynote speeches, product demonstrations, and networking events.
Given the groundbreaking research conducted within the CounteR project, which targets not only law enforcement agencies (LEAs), but also internet service providers (ISPs) as end-users, ASSIST has taken the initiative to promote this project at this year's MWC edition. As a result, many participants at the fair have shown a keen interest in the project, impressed by its innovative and practical approach.
We want to remind you that the CounteR project’s main objective is to equip law enforcement agencies and internet providers with an early-warning tool for detecting potential radical content. By doing so, it aims to curb the spread of radicalization and prevent life-threatening terrorist attacks, by enabling end-users to act preemptively against radical content, thereby ensuring a safer and more secure online environment for all.
The Privacy-First Situational Awareness Platform for Violent Terrorism and Crime Prediction, Counter Radicalization and Citizen Protection Project or CounteR is funded by the Horizon 2020 program of the European Union and submitted under the H2020-SU-SEC-2020 call for proposals, with project ID 101021607.
