Shaping the Future of Inclusive Education: IDEATE Meeting in Bielefeld
Since its launch in April 2025, the IDEATE project has been working towards achieving its mission of empowering teachers to create more inclusive and digitally innovative learning environments across Europe. Over the past months, the consortium has focused on laying strong foundations for the project, combining research, technological development, and close collaboration across universities, schools, continuous development providers, and technical partners to co-create effective teacher training and inclusive learning solutions.
To review progress and align on the next stages, the partners gathered at the University of Bielefeld on 18–19 September 2025 to review achievements, address challenges, and coordinate upcoming project activities. Partners worked closely to exchange insights, align practices, and ensure the collaborative approach of the teachers’ academy model continues to drive inclusive teacher training.
During the two-day meeting, partners provided updates on the progress of ongoing activities, with a special focus on the deliverables due at the end of September. Discussions ensured that outputs are advancing as planned and meet the expected quality standards.

The agenda also included an internal workshop on inclusive education methodology, where partners exchanged lessons learned and refined approaches to ensure coherence across activities.
Another important topic was the dissemination plan, with partners aligning on communication strategies to strengthen the project’s visibility and impact in the coming months. The meeting concluded with a forward-looking activity plan, ensuring smooth coordination across all teams as the project moves into its next phase.
As a technical partner, ASSIST Software actively contributed to discussions, presenting progress on the development of digital tools and supporting alignment of technical activities with the project's pedagogical and inclusion-focused goals.
We remind you that IDEATE is funded by the Erasmus+ Teacher Academies program of the European Union, with project ID: 101196790.
